A Premier Art Exhibit commemorating 402 years since Captain Smith's arrival in what is now Jamestown, Virginia, will be on display at the Nashawannauck Gallery, located at 40 Cottage Street in Easthampton, Massachusetts. Accompanying Captain Smith were the first Polish artisans and craftsmen to arrive in the New World. This exhibit will be open from October 9 through November 9, 2010.
In celebration of this event during Polish American Heritage Month in Massachusetts, the following artists, inspired by Polish Heritage and Culture, will participate - Marek Czamecki, Fr. Charles DiMascola, John Gnatek, Patricia Czepiel Hayes, Erik Hoffner, Sandra Pipczynski, John Romanski, Robert Waleryszak, Fred Wilda and Steve Wilda.
