This is the first event in a series of discussions, actions and documentations organized by a group of artists that came together through Valley Art Share. We have 200 copies of the Art Work paper produced by Temporary Services in Chicago, to distribute throughout the Valley. This publication consists of historical documents about artists and the economy as well as contemporary projects throughout the United States. It also includes personal economies; short testimonials from artists about how they navigate artmaking within capitalism and approach work, art and community.

To generate a local conversation we are developing ways to keep our actions visible and promote collaboration. This will happen online at www.ValleyArtShare.com and through a series of conversations and exhibitions.
