Join us for an informal talk with New Orleans based artist Nick Slie about the BP Drilling Disaster and how it is impacting his community and others throughout the Gulf Coast. Nick will also discuss the role of artists in times of peril and what he and other artists are doing, in collaboration with advocacy groups, to spread the word about their home.
Nick Slie is Co-Founder and Co-Artistic Director of the New Orleans based performance collective Mondo Bizarro. He is in residence at the Ko Festival this week leading a workshop on Devised Theatre, and he will be performing Loup Garou at the festival August 6-8th.
