HOLLIDAY BUTTON MANIA!

By popular request I’m holding an impromptu button-making workshop
where you can make your own pin-back or fridge magnet buttons at my
studio this Sunday, Nov. 28, 1pm to 4pm at my studio, 80 Race St in
downtown Holyoke. This will be a casual afternoon event where you,
(alone or with family members), can put together some funky, hand-made
buttons that make for unique holiday stocking stuffers.

This is a great way to make something with a personal touch and avoid
the insanity of shopping at the Holyoke Mall!

Here’s the deal -
I’ll provide the button making machine and all the necessary parts, as
well as collage materials that can be made into buttons including;
antique engravings, old maps, vintage cartoons and comics etc. I’ll
also have paint, crayons, colored pencils, and other art materials on
hand. You can also bring family photos, pictures of pets and your own
memorabilia that we can make into a button as well.
Of course I’ll have many, many buttons of my own designs there too if
you’d like to pick out some of those.

Cost –
I’m keeping this simple – all buttons are $2 each, (ones you make or
mine), and you can make as many as you want.
