The second concert in honor of the 300th anniversary of C.P.E. Bach's birth, his thrilling Magnificat will be the centerpiece of a celebration program. Featuring a professional chorus and orchestra, and guest artists including Margot Rood, soprano; Kate Maroney, alto; Jason McStoots, tenor; Sumner Thompson, bass; Joel Pitchon, violin; Grant Moss, continuo; Joseph Baldwin, conductor. Co-sponsored by the Smith College Center for Religious and; Spiritual Life, Department of Music, and Office of Student Engagement—Fine Arts Fund.
The performance, in the Helen Hills Hills Chapel, is free and open to the public.
