Three outstanding local novelists will read from their work on Wednesday, May 4 at 7 pm in the Coolidge Room at Forbes Library. Anthony Giardina is the author of Men With Debts, A Boy's Pretensions, Recent History, The Country of Marriage and White Guys . Cathi Hanauer is the author of two novels, Sweet Ruin and My Sister's Bones, and the editor of the New York Times bestselling essay anthology The Bitch in the House. Her third novel will be published by Atria/Simon & Schuster in early 2012. Frederick Reiken is the author of three novels, most recently Day For Night. Reiken's debut novel, The Odd Sea, won the Hackney Literary Award for a first novel and was a finalist for the Barnes & Noble Discover Prize. His follow-up, The Lost Legends of New Jersey, was a national bestseller.
This is the final event in the2010/2011 Local History/Local Novelists reading series curated by Forbes Writer In Residence Susan Stinson. The series will return for 2011/12 in October.
