Event Description

Solo exhibit of plant and feather images by Leonore Alaniz on paper and fabric. In collaboration with the objects, the artist uses a Renaissance technique that requires attention to the detail, materials and physical dexterity. Thirty six distinct imprints, colored and composed in non-traditional ways that engage viewers of all ages, reflect states of consciousness suggested by the specimen themselves: Edible, psychedelic, healing, aggressive, symmetrical, chaotic, native, foreign, fragile, and majestic.
