Event Description

Author, poet, and playwright Nick Wedlake is collaborating with The Guild’s resident poet, Zach Novak, to produce a limited series of spoken word/dramatic performances of his autobiography, “Eat the Pretty Ones.” Wedlake’s graphic, but often beautiful story depicts the raw essences of spectacular, burning humanity, complemented by compelling urban imagery and dialect. Performed in cooperation with, and in juxtaposition to, Novak’s eloquent, naturalistic verse, Wedlake’s story will convey a unique and dynamic drama… one that surrounds and involves us all…
