Jeffrey Richard, Selected Works October 11th – November 5th at UNITE Opening Friday October 11th, 6-9pm 202 Main St. Northampton MA In conjunction with Northampton’s Arts Night Out, on Friday October 11th UNITE will host a gallery reception for local artist, Jeffrey Richard from 6-9pm. Refreshments will be served. Jeffrey’s work will be on display and for sale until November 5th. Jeff is a Holyoke native whose hometown is the inspiration for his artwork. Jeff takes photos of often overlooked urban scenery: railroad tracks, graffiti, doors, old buildings, phone booths, etc. He often spends time on the railroad tracks admiring the work of local graffiti artists. From this pastime came the birth of his handmade frames: pieces made from railroad ties, paint cans, rocks and other materials.
