The talk is the first event of a Local History and Novelists 2010/11 Series at Forbes Library, bringing together writers of fiction and history experts for explorations in story, fact and memory.
Kenneth P. Minkema is the Executive Editor of The Works of Jonathan Edwards and of the Jonathan Edwards Center & Online Archive and Assistant Adjunct Professor of American Religious History at Yale Divinity School. He'll be giving an in...troduction to Jonathan Edwards.
Elise Bernier-Feeley is Local History Librarian, Hampshire Room for Local History and Special Collections, Forbes Library. She'll be speaking about Sarah Edwards.
Susan Stinson is an award-winning novelist and Writer in Residence, Forbes Library. She’s been at work on Spider in a Tree, a novel about Jonathan Edwards’s years in Northampton for eight years. She'll be reading fiction.
