Artichokes in Anchorage! Parsnips in Providence! In David Weisner’s book, June 29, 1999, a young girl’s science project begins with seedlings sent up in the atmosphere, and ends with an invasion of giant vegetables! Come to The Carle for a special storytime followed by a collaborative window installation project where young artists imagine what vegetable they see flying through the sky.
