Event Description
Mara Loft will be showing paintings, mostly watercolor on paper or acrylic on canvas. Loft’s work features psychological landscapes as well as animals, vegetables and minerals. Helena Dooley, who often incorporates puns and gags in her work, promises to make “mostly pretty pastel paintings that look nice in the drawing room,” although she may slip something rougher into the show. Dooley will exhibit acrylic paintings on canvas and reverse paintings on glass.
