As part of the 19th annual Massachusetts Multicultural Film Festival intersections: fiction/non-fiction, spring 2012, a special screening of Eija-Liisa Ahtila’s The Annunciationwill be followed by an interdisciplinary panel discussion including scholars from art history, theater, and film.
Panelists include: Nicola Courtright (Professor, Department of Art and the History of Art, Amherst College); Catherine Portuges (Director, Interdepartmental Program in Film Studies; Curator, Massachusetts Multicultural Film Festival); and Daniel Sack (Five College Mellon Postdoctoral Fellow in Performance Studies; English, Amherst College; English, UMass Amherst).
*Due to limited seating, doors will open at 5:30 p.m., with film screening every half hour through 7:30 p.m.
