Casio electrician Dan Friel returns to wmass this month to share his fuzzy beats and bloppy mud melodies. Known more recently for his work with the anthemic prog brigade Parts & Labor, Friel carries with him a
hefty history of sick jams. As a wee chap cradled in the verdant fields of south amherst, he sharpened his chops in brutal noise/rock acts like the Squidlaunch collective & Soren. His instrumental solo sets are intimate & chugging with a nice pressure of intimacy &
chugginess that might get yout slightly lost in the moment & then come back only to realize what you just repeated.

With lips of fury, local trumpeter Peter Bonos will be dropping a sack of new compositions & improvisations for solo horn, metal implements, & aquarium air compressor. With an ever expanding vocabulary he
fearlessly harnesses overblowing freejazz, improv scrape, & folksy romanticism without looking or sounding like a dork. This could be the debut of his Pi-based numerological score, so watch out!

Angela Zammarelli will be showing some exquisite short video work that pulls one under a crocheted blanket and deep into a sweaty abyss of twisted penetrating mycelium. Zammarelli works in many media notably fiber, performance, & installation. She's done cool residencies in faraway places & has shown her awesome art all over.

Local celebrity, fishkeeper & aquarium expert Dan Linton will be presenting his informative talk "Freshwater Shrimp Cocktail: The history, and basics of keeping freshwater shrimp in the home aquarium." Keep clean with a crustacean.
DJ Cloca will take on the decks this month and put the needle on inappropriate records where possible.
... and like last month, there will be a Paper Program, a MPBE PP, to be exact. send submissions for this month's issue by next week. peep last month's debut in the archive section of the website:
