MULTI- MEDIA ARTS PROGRAM – Ages 10 and UP- AUG. 9-13, 2010 9:30 am to 12:30 pm every day.


Come and splash paint on canvas for our last week of Summer Arts Explosion 2010! Let your mind make abstract shapes and allow colors to blend as we paint freely, exploring the way the colors flow into one another. We’ll work with watercolors with wet paper and dry to see how different they appear. You’ll have a chance to decide on a creative project that you really want to do in this week and we’ll provide the materials and the support to do it!

We’ll set up a still life from the garden that we will sketch and paint with acrylic paints. Other media will be explored: like making self-portraits out of a large chunk of clay. We will explore through our imagination as we create our own stories, illustrate them and make Graphic Novels. There will be a small hike around town to inspire us to create more art with nature and we will make our own paper adding our findings.
