The Hosmer Gallery is pleased to present a sampling of the best of student art from Northampton High School in what we hope will become an annual event.

Curated by head art teacher Lisa Leary, the exhibit will feature representative examples of what students create in Art Department classes: Foundations in Art, Drawing & Painting 1 & 2, Ceramics, Honors Art 1-4, and Printmaking & Bookmaking.

Three students in the show have won Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards: Alex Gibson (a Gold Key for a portfolio of paintings), Travis Weitzman (Honorable Mention for an analog photograph) and Sarah Inness-Gold (two Honorable Mentions for a still life drawing and still life painting).

This promises to be a fascinating and diverse showing of talent including drawings, paintings, ceramics, prints, books and design work from grades 9-12.
