"A native of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, I began painting lessons as a child in Provincetown, MA. I received formal training at The Art Institute of Boston; L’Ecole Nationale Superieure Des Beaux Arts in Paris, France; and Boston University. After obtaining teaching credentials, I worked as an art teacher for many years in public and private education. I now work full time in my studio and take only a few private students.

"The beauty and mystery of Nature are at the core of my work. My focus is on color and light. In creating the work I rely on intuitive inspiration and use parts of dreams, insights, and my awareness of the miracles of life that we often take for granted. Not only should art be truthful and real, I want mine to also be healing and uplifting. I am intent on creating an internal glow that will move the viewer to reflect on the potential within all of us."
