Lecture by Ed S. Brickler
Mr. Brickler will give an in-depth lecture on working with paper, paper making and paper materials, sizing and grounds, paper choices and applications, including ink jet printing.
This event is specifically geared to artists, printers, and professionals who work with, and are interested in, paper.
Ed Brickler is Director of the Canson Art Education program representing Canson, Arches, and Royal Talens. He has been an art materials consultant for twenty-five years and is also a working artist. His previous employment included MacPherson’s, Koh-I-Noor, and Grumbacher. Ed lectures on drawing and painting materials and methods for art schools all over North America and conducts workshops on color mixing, pen & ink, painting, drawing, paper evaluation, and composition. He has published articles in The Artist’s Magazine, Watercolor Magic, Art Materials Today, Island Arts Magazine, was contributing editor for Palette Talk, and has been acknowledged in more than a dozen art books for his contributions.
