Robert Abel
Bob Abel first learned basic silkscreen printing back in 1976. After a few years, he quit silkscreening in favor of other endeavors, largely because of the chemicals involved. Years later, he found ways to create the images with non toxic inks. His mats are cut from paper, by hand, a separate mat for each color in the image.
Bob's prints have been seen at numerous Big Brothers and Big Sisters craft fairs and in galleries across the Northampton/Easthampton/Amherst area.
Carl Nardiello will exhibit digital archival Giclee prints from "The Connecticut River Series", which is his take on the natural splendor of the Connecticut River Valley. As a non-traditional landscape photographer, he is most interested in exploring ordinary moments which can be full of rich textures and inspiring visual effects.
Karen's other creative endeavors include landscape painting, as well as studying and playing guitar. Among her other passions are canoeing and biking, which go hand in hand with her photographic pursuits.
