Psalms in Ordinary Voices is a joint project by the Rev. Dr. Andrea Ayvazian and portrait photographer Ellen Augarten. In the forthcoming book, the 150 Psalms of David have been interpreted and rewritten by a cross section of 'ordinary' people from our community--day care workers, lawyers, school teachers, hair stylists, inmates, physicians, custodians, children and others--with an accompanying photograph of each taken by Ms. Augarten.

At the Hosmer Gallery exhibition you will see a sampling of these portraits and their beautifully written Psalms.
