Event Description

Interested viewers are invited to "Entering India", Fusion Indian Miniature Paintings at the Burnett Gallery. The exhibition inspired by study in India uses the traditional techniques of Indian Miniature along with western techniques to create symbolic paintings. Nature, deities and great souls depict inner evolution as the "undiscovered continent", as described by Emily Dickinson, (and in this case the subcontinent of India) is entered. The unfamiliar is no longer. It is the integrated new reality of the Self.
