Stir in mythology, and an original music score.
RESCUING PERSEPHONE is a feast of up close and personal theatre about an important subject that is all too often avoided.

Performance is preceded by a lively, interactive demonstration by Valley Women's Martial Arts, and followed by a Community Dialogue with artists, audience, & UMASS Everywoman's Center. Rescuing Persephone is created, written, and directed by survivors. Our goal is, through art, to move, engage, and empower our communities to break the silence and end sexual violence.
