Su’ad Abdul Khabeer presents a one-woman performance that challenges dominant narratives on race, gender, religion, popular culture, and citizenship in the contemporary United States. Based on over seven years of ethnographic research among US Muslims, the performance consists of a series of vignettes using movement, theatre, and poetry to share complex stories of Muslim life in the US. Featuring Tavasha Shannon aka Miss Undastood. Presented by the Lewis Global Studies Center.
