In this feature documentary, filmmaker Daniel Hayward and comics maker Bernard Caleo venture into the studios and lives of four Australian cartoonists: Pat Grant, Mandy Ord, Bruce Mutard and Nicki Greenberg. They examine the cartoonists’ lives and work. The film also includes interviews with comic book/graphic novel luminaries Paul Gravett, Dylan Horrocks, Scott McCloud, and Shaun Tan (‘The Arrival’).

Graphic novel scholar N.C. Christopher Couch leads a conversation with Bruce Mutard, one of the featured graphic novelists, and Mira Bartok, NEPR commentator and author of The Memory Palace, about the film and the Australian graphic novel/comics scene.
