I’ve been taking photographs for years, but it wasn’t until 2010 when I did a 365 Day project and photographed every day for a year that I became serious about capturing my world.  I come from a long line of artists and have spent much of my life identifying with artists, living with artists, but not labeling myself as one.  Now in my 60s I have to claim the identity for myself, but I prefer to think of myself as one who documents life, not as a photographer.  I collect stories, I write poems and I take pictures about the world, about relationships and the places where magic comes into play. 

These photos document early summer to late fall, from spring green to umber.  They document the time of year when color explodes and then huddles back to regenerate.
