"Peter Blanchette gives an evening of such musical and mathematical precision and originality that we are transported to a state of wonder and delight. His scoring and performance thrill in the same way watching a great magician thrills. This is something completely unique and brilliant." - Anthony Peck on Steamboat Bill, Jr.

Fresh from a six-minute standing ovation at the Dingle Film Festival, Peter Blanchette now performs live to screen his ingenious new composition which reinvents the beloved silent classic from Buster Keaton for valley audiences. An internationally renowned multi-instrumentalist, Peter will play an astounding array of instruments including electric guitar, banjo, electric baritone guitar, piano and voice (along with his trademark archguitar). Each performance includes a 20 minute medley newly arranged from great film composers.
Supported in part by grants from the New England Foundation for the Arts, and the Northampton Arts Council.
