The series by Dr. Adhi Two Owls, "Topographies and Other Surface Tensions" explores the topography or the shape and surfaces of natural forms.  These patterns and textures of things weave  together in a vibrant engagement of light and color. Lines are sourced from  nature: seeds, leaves, landscapes, ocean waves, stones, ripples, clouds  and more. These sources of natural phenomena offer organized patterns, sacred geometry, visual rhythms, organic growth and odd mutations. Creating a tension in the relationship of lines, forms and color on the page that is both familiar and abstract.

The series "Icons of Animalia" explores the idea of painting animals as images of Divine iconography. These painting with their simple design and form seeks to capture a  still point of their radiance with out lessening their nobility and grace.
