The FABRICATION [recycled] fashion show will feature works from local artists and designers using only re-used materials. This could mean anything from sweaters re-incarnate to several decks of playing cards. Some of the designers are veterans of the laundromat fashion show, some are artists working to make their designs their business, and still others are just flexing their creative biceps. Models will strut to the beat of catwalk tracks accompanied by the words of emcee Jamie Berger. While items made from re-purposed household items may fall into the less wearable high couture category, others are intended for pedestrian use. Some pieces will even be available for purchase should you find yourself unable to leave without a fabulous one-of-a-kind garment. The hour long show will take place around 6pm.
