(4 PDPs) Picture books can be used to help differentiate instruction and make learning more fun and interactive for students of all ages. This workshop will provide strategies for integrating picture books in upper elementary curricula. A group exploration using the best and newest picture books will introduce participants to new ideas for presenting subject matter, ways to simplify literary elements, and help students with their writing process. This workshop is designed for participants to share and gain new ideas through conversation and exploration together.
