Event Description

Valley Voices chamber choir presents a concert of music of the English Renaissance. Deanna Joseph returns from Eastman School of Music, where she is pursuing doctoral studies in conducting, to join Ryan Brandau, Assistant Choral Director at Smith College, to lead an ensemble comprised of some of the Valley's finest ensemble singers. The pro-gram features William Byrd's haunting Mass for Four Voices as well as several hidden treasures from the 16th century - stunning motets from the Office of Compline by Tho-mas Tallis and his contemporary John Sheppard. Donations accepted.
