This nest was found at The Farm School in 2008. The hair which lines the inside was gathered in the late spring, when Mack (the 30-year-old Belgium Draft horse and majestic symbol of the Farm) was shedding his winter coat. This nest immortalizes Mack, who passed away in 2009. The nest symbolizes care-taking and self-reliance - two of the many essential lessons learned at the Farm School.
