Artist Statement/Bio

I collect and reinterpret what I see and experience on a daily basis. I do this with my camera, pen/paper, rain water, ink, coffee cups, etc.

Working in New England has been an intentional decision because of the four seasons : I find that like the work of a farmer, my work as an artist shifts with changing light, cooling temperatures, falling leaves, accumulating snow, and hot humid nights.

Everything becomes important to me, then it's just a matter of choosing what's interesting enough to document and re-form. How to create logic from chance, patterns from disorder, stories from dirty dishes.
