Artist Statement/Bio

I've been a re-use artist all my life: my mother saved everything. She also taught me to sew and knit, and I've been creating clothes with and without patterns ever since. Teaching artist at Materials for the Arts, NYC, a huge reuse facility. Avid photographer, Art Therapist, Early Childhood educator, Travel Writer. Lived in Chile, France, Germany, Taiwan.

Describe your organization or gallery

I am the Art Coordinator for the DPW Northampton's ReUse Committee and am organizing a Reuse Rally for the Arts on Oct. 13, 2012. Also looking for space to start a ReUse Arts Depot, take it and leave it, for artists, teachers and folks.
