Artist Statement/Bio

I have been making, displaying, and selling art quilts since 1990. I have studied in graduate level classes with the leading quilt artists in the country.
Color is often the initial inspiration of my pieces. A special light at sunset or a spark of color or form in architecture. Then form becomes an organizing agent that draws me to the final format. I listen to the fabric.
