Edward Kwaitkowski (Ed) began his studies in art with Mrs. Margaret Holt in 1954 at the Adults Arts and Crafts Class of the United Cerebral Palsy Association of Springfield, Massachusetts.
Born with Cerebral Palsy, Ed has never been able to work for a living and has been wheel chair bound since 2005. With the generous support of an anonymous donor, he attended 2 years at the Cleveland Institute of Art (1968-1970). Ed (age 73) has had local exposure and limited exhibition opportunities during the past 59 years. Due to his limited physical abilities, he requires assistance with daily routines and in the studio. Ed cannot use his hands and has created his art using his right foot. A group of family, friends and local/regional organizations has been working with Ed to get him exposure and exhibitions for his art. He currently lives in Holyoke, Massachusetts and welcomes your comments, interest or opinions on his life's work.
