I began making sculptures about six years ago. Almost all are made from discarded local materials such as broken bottles, automobile parts, and other throwaways that have decayed far beyond what most people consider worthwhile. Although I have used many different materials, most of my art falls within the following categories: Metal; Glass; and Photography.
I like reflecting on the interactions between sociology, history, economics, and the effects of human activity on our environment. Most of my sculptures contemplate, in one way or another, those people whose circumstances lie at the hard edges of human existence. Use the links to the right to see examples of my sculpture and photography.

My studio is located at my house in Florence, and some of my large metal sculptures are visible from the street so people should feel free to drop by and take a look.
