I work to empower and educate. Creating within a male dominated arena, I am one of very few women that continually destroy the notion of, "well, that's just the way it is" -- playing by my own rules and stomping on whomever tries to tell me to do it their way. I am stubborn and influential, reinventive and critical. I am a first generation Colombian American graffiti artist, hip-hop dancer, toymaker, and photographer. Inspired by the rhythm of a drumbeat, the body in motion, and the stories less told, I seek to undo the taboo reputation of the spray can while making art that incites action, inspiration and appreciation for queer women around the world. Born and raised in San Francisco, I currently reside with my partner in Northampton, MA, musing, creating and applying to grad schools. I received a BA in Political Science from The University of California, San Diego.
