Artist Statement/Bio

Jessica has a broad range of interests in photography and aims to capture images moment by moment with artistic simplicity, timelessness, and intrigue.

As a photographer, Jessica ​celebrates her love of observation. Whether it is people, the environment, or day to day scenes, she has been a life-long observer of the unique bits of life and magic that surround us. She has been capturing images for 15 years, though much of her early work was of the documentary type.

​Jessica's professional background is in land conservation, environmental education, and administration. She holds undergraduate degrees from Miami University and a graduate degree from Harvard. Her love of the outdoors has been life-long where she can explore for hours and hours on end, preferably with camera in hand.
