Leo Hwang received his M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. His work has appeared in Meat for Tea, The Massachusetts Review, Glimmer Train Stories, Rivendell, Can We Have Our Ball Back?, Fiction, Three Candles, Gulf Coast, The Vermont Literary Review, and The Dickinson Review. He was the recipient of the Rosselli/de Filippis Scholarship at the Napa Valley Writers’ Conference and has been awarded scholarships to the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference. Mr. Hwang received his B.A. in English and Fine Arts from the University of the South, and an M.F.A. from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. Mr. Hwang is the Dean of Humanities at Greenfield Community College and serves as coordinating dean for the Fostering Art and Culture Project. Currently, Mr. Hwang is pursuing a doctorate in geography at the University of Massachusetts and plays guitar in two bands, The Warblers and Something Else.
