- Malea works primarily in wheel thrown porcelain with a primary focus on surface design. Her inspiration has come prominently from nature. Over the years she has experimented with the leaf form in slip trailing, carving and most recently, sprigging.

- Malea works out of her downtown Northampton Collective studio which is currently home to 11 potters and 2 assistants.
