Artist Statement/Bio

I do a lot of things: Murals, crafts with various media, etc. But my favorite thing is short stories and poetry. Words hold a special place within me and, I will admit, poetry saved the part of me which was drowning some time ago. So many things in this world have limitations and restrictions. My words, my poetry, my short stories: have none!

Describe your organization or gallery

I am the Creator/Editor-In-Chief of Nocturnal Void Magazine. It is a social awareness magazine which inspires individuals (whether submitting art or being interviewed for their art) to be expressive. To be who they are. Our mission is to wake up society to the beauty and darkness of the world around it. Accept those who normally wouldn't be accepted. No change within a society comes when all who step outside the 'accepted' lines aren't part of the fold or labeled 'deviant'. We need to see the world as it is in order to inspire change. Otherwise, we inspire failure.
