Artist Statement/Bio

I am a photographer dedicated to seeing, understanding and framing the landscape: designed, built, altered and wild. Born and raised in New York City, I moved to Northern California to study art after college and photographed there for 18 years. I now live in Western Massachusetts. My work is a response to both landscapes: the intimate spaces and scale of the east coast as well as the dramatic open spaces and vast scale of the west.
