I have incorporated found material into my work for the past 35 years. Gradually it has become nearly the only medium with which I work. My pieces are located in that intersection of the geometric and organic form. The material itself is ephemeral or reflects the impact of time or the elements. The use of different mesh types offers one of the slightest ways to inscribe space. It speaks of presence and absence, and how our perception of experience, memory, an object or time -- all shift based on where we stand - our point of view.
