Describe your organization or gallery
I am co-director of The Zany Angels Dance Theatre Company, based in the Northampton area.
The Zany Angels Mission:
Our mission is to produce highly skilled, heart-centered performances that ignite personal healing and social change within our audiences. We aim to create an environment where personal stories of triumph and courage are shared as part of a universal narrative that crosses barriers of gender, class, culture, and sexual orientation. Through performance we share the message that telling the truth is necessary, and from there, healing is possible and becomes a source of empowerment and joy.
I teach classes and teleclasses in Performance Art and Artist Support Groups
Rythea: Post Zany events here at Valley Art Share! Since you've opened the Zany Angels School for Artist Empowerment,, you might want to consider that a ton of Valley artists are collected together this site! I'm discovering that it really is an awesome tool, resource, and community-connector, and I hope more artists become active here.
