I am a beadweaver and create jewelry using seed beads and embellishment beads. I work off-loom using seed beads and embellishment beads to incorporate texture, color and shape, creating unique, wearable art. After graduating from college, I spent two years in the Peace Corps teaching English in a small town in Iran. I have taught beadweaving at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan and at several venues in western Massachusetts. I have exhibited with the Bead Society of Greater New York in Manhattan and Tokyo, Japan and in Amherstat the former Fiber Art Center. I am also a member of the Shelburne Arts Cooperative in Shelburne Falls, MA and Saw Mill River Arts in Montague, MA.
