- Amherst Public Arts Commission promotes local artists with temporary and permanent art installations in our community. Some of our permanent installations include the ceramic bricktiles on buildings downtown, Stain Glass window in Town Hall, Salamander Crossing stonework in Cushman green, murals at Boltwood Garage and the visiting artists program at Town Hall.

We have just launched our new website for the Amherst Biennial

Fantastic submissions coming in for the next Biennial (opening Saturday, Oct. 6 - Nov. 30) and lining up some wonderful new sites at the colleges, museum and maybe an empty storefront in Downtown Amherst.
