The Canal Gallery and Studios is a non-profit contemporary art collaborative in Holyoke, MA. The former industrial mill building houses 36 artist and light industrial studios, two gallery spaces, and a host of community spaces. For the last 35+ years, the Gallery and Studios has provided low cost spaces for artists, served as an incubator for arts and industry in Holyoke, and is now developing into a hub of community revitalization efforts through its new program, "The Guilded Brick", a versatile venue/performance and gallery space that will serve to provide musicians and artists greater support and visibility in the community, expose and educate the public about art/music, as well as stimulate Holyoke's artistic economy and quality of life.
