Artist Statement/Bio

I work with immigrants and with the poor and people affected by discrimination. This doesn't make me special or better than anyone.

I just want to share what I see with others because the life of the outcasts of our society is at best invisible, and at worst seen as something to avoid and dislike.

I like what Ben Shahn said: Teach thy tongue to say I do not know and thou shalt progress.

What I do isn't art it's just me wanting to share what I see with you hoping that it'll make you act for good in the world. I want shine a light on the invisible with hope for change and for justice.

Dom Helder Camara said, When I give food to the poor you call me a saint. When I ask why the poor have no food you call me a communist.

I'm no saint nor am I a communist. But, I'm asking questions and hope what I share will lead you to ask questions, too.
