Hi everyone! Come check out a little show of my work at Salon 241 on Main Street in Noho. It's up until August 8 - and there are prints and cards for sale! I continue my exploration of presence and soul through the drawn SYMBOLS of the face and figure. The more I explore the world of my improvised scratches, scribbles, doodles, and designs over the years, the more I see a bold universal language emerge (and the more I relate to the impulse that drove/drives people to make cave drawings, tribal art, and totems).  Much of the raw material for my pieces is created using the Touch Drawing process...

Even more enticing:  STAY TUNED for my late-September stint at the WHOO SPACE on Market Street in Noho - right around the corner from the Roost!  It will be an awesome week-long Dana Wilde GALLERY / STORE / INNER PORTRAITS STUDIO, and I hope to actually be present in there every day.
