Excited for spring

We are getting ready here at Snow Farm to open our doors for the 2009 season. We will be hosting two days of Inspiration/Perspiration on April 11th and April 18th, with an egg hunt and prize on the 11th. These two days are a chance to become a part of our community of artists and crafts people. We will be opening up our flower and garden beds as well as sprucing up our studios. What a gorgeous time of year to be there among people intently focusing on creating. I love bringing a small group of people from the beginning stage of "I can't.../I never have..." through the quiet of concentration on the drawing to the surprise of producing what they weren't sure they had in them. The atmosphere at Snow Farm is laid back, the food is good and you can learn all sorts of things like glass bead making, pottery, metal working, etc. You should go up and visit. Meanwhile, I want to learn how to bend saplings to make garden structures, or to sculpt or make mosaics from the box of broken pottery shards I've been collecting for years. And I definitely want to teach there again.
